The Six:7 is a unique multi-format (120 & 35mm) camera system, with the flexibility of direct ground glass focusing capability and zone focus handheld photography in one compact, lightweight, system. Using dedicated, interchangeable lens cones allows for a range of focal lengths to be used by the photographer.
The Six:7 has a fully removable film back, with integrated darkslide, making it the only handheld 6x7 camera that you can directly focus/compose each frame on the roll, giving complete control over each frame and format.
The main camera body has an embedded bubble level in the top centre, to aid composition when focusing on the ground glass, the level is also visible when the film back is fitted to provide the same composition aid when using the camera with zone focusing. There is a second bubble level on the side of camera, to be used when using the camera rotated for landscape format panoramic 35mm and 6x7 and portrait format 6x3.
All Six:7 cameras come with one lens cone/helicoid as standard. If there is a specific lens you wish to use, and it's not listed, get in touch and a custom cone can be designed, so long as the rear element is smaller than 72mm diameter, and the shutter size is smaller than 54mm.
All lens cones are secured using the physical locking tab and the sliding latch on the main body.
Film loading/unloading is simple, thanks to the fully removable caddy and sprung take up/rewind knobs.
The rear of the film back has a central window, used to quickly and easily wind on to the next frame depending on format (see videos below). The full manual winding means that double/multiple exposures are possible. The following frame numbers are used;
6x7 - Uses physical rotating frame wheel (10 frames)
6x6 - 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 (12 frames - central window)
6x3 - 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,12 (24 frames - upper/lower windows)
24x68 Xpan - Uses physical rotating frame wheel (18 frames)
The Six:7 camera weighs approximately 300g, without lens/cone, making it a very compact system that you can comfortably carry in a bag, or attached via a camera strap. All Six:7 cameras have a pair of carbon fibre integrated neck strap mounts on the sides of the main body.
As well as a standard 1/4" tripod thread built in to the base of the camera, there is a central coldshoe on the top plate. Accessory viewfinders/rangefinders can be used in the coldshoe to help with framing/focus (not included).

The Six7 offers 6x7 (10 frames) 6x6 (12 frames) , 6x3 (24 frames) and 24x68mm 135 (18 frames) in one compact system. The camera comes with 5 frame masks (with and without sprockets holes for 135) and a matching magnetic ground glass with clip in format masks.
Like all of my cameras, the Six7 has removable film back and lens cones, meaning that you can build a system that suits your own needs.
