UPGRADE - Technical lens cone for SnapShot - Rise/Fall/Shift

This listing is a Technical lens cone UPGRADE if you are placing a brand new order for a SnapShot camera, instead of the Standard fixed cone that comes with it.

The 'Technical' lens cone for the SnapShot allows for 15mm of rise/fall or shift movement (individually, not combined). This allows for movement as the scene requires. 

TO USE THE RISE/FALL/SHIFT MOVEMENT, THE LENS MUST HAVE AN IMAGE CIRCLE LARGE ENOUGH TO COVER 4”x5” PLUS 15MM. IF A LENS DOES NOT HAVE A LARGE ENOUGH IMAGE CIRCLE THERE IS A RISK OF VIGNETTING OR A HARD CUTOFF.

Available for a range of lenses. If you have a lens that isn't listed, please get in touch to confirm that it can be added.

Maximum recommend focal length is 180mm, as lenses longer than this will create a front-heavy camera, which will be unbalanced in use.

The rear element of the lens you wish to use must be smaller than 70mm diameter, as it is mounted through the middle of the focusing helicoid. There are two different size helicoids available, the smaller one has a 60mm maximum diameter and the larger one 70mm. These are priced accordingly.
